Founded by Sion Tesone, Tissini is a for-profit social enterprise that offers low-income US Hispanic immigrant women an opportunity to earn extra income and provide for themselves and their families. Through a direct sales model, Tissini’s clients — called Emprendedoras — purchase at wholesale a variety of fashion and home goods sourced from Latin America and sell them for a profit. Tissini provides a simple and flexible channel for extra income that makes a true and lasting difference in these women’s lives.
