Co-owner Janice Jucker and her family honor the legacy of their family bakery, which started in Poland in 1825. Three Jucker brothers who survived the Holocaust fled to Houston where they opened the family’s first U.S. bakery in 1949. Today, they have four locations in Houston and the business has endured hurricanes, fires, the pandemic, and other disasters.
